“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will control your life and you will call it fate.
-CARL JUNG

My approach is grounded in relational talk therapy that honours the healing power of authentic connection and relational presence. Together, we engage both top-down processes — exploring thoughts, beliefs, and stories that shape experience — and bottom-up, body-based approaches that access the nervous system and the felt sense. This integration supports emotional regulation, deeper self-understanding, and lasting change throughout body, mind, and spirit.

Psychotherapy

  • Relational talk therapy is more than conversation — it’s a healing relationship grounded in empathy, safety, and attunement. In this space, words become bridges between body and mind, emotion and understanding.

When we feel seen and understood, our nervous system begins to settle. Therapy offers the rare gift of slowing down — creating space for reflection, honesty, and transformation. Healing unfolds not through fixing, but through being fully met in our humanity

  • Somatic therapy invites us to include the body in the conversation of healing. So often, we try to “think” our way through pain or insight — yet many of our deepest experiences live beneath words, held as sensations, impulses, and memories within the body.

Integrative Somatic Therapy helps bring awareness to these embodied patterns with compassion and curiosity. By gently attuning to the body’s signals — tension, breath, posture, or stillness — we begin to recognize how our nervous system has adapted to protect us from past stress and trauma. This awareness allows new experiences of safety, regulation, and vitality to emerge.

Drawing from polyvagal theory, attachment science, and mindfulness-based approaches, this work supports nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. Clients often describe feeling more grounded, connected, and alive — learning to trust their bodies not as sources of fear or pain, but as portals to presence and wisdom.

Somatic therapy complements talk therapy by deepening insight into how emotional patterns are lived and expressed physically. As the body releases old patterns of holding and bracing, we make room for a greater sense of flow, ease, and self-compassion.

“When we learn to listen to the body, we begin to understand the language of our own healing.”

  • Are you seeking personalized support to explore your goals? I specialize in assisting clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship issues.

Transitions in life are difficult but can also serve as opportunities for personal growth, provided we have the right guidance and support. They enable us to identify and address old patterns, integrate new experiences, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

My approach is designed to help you uncover underlying issues, nurture a compassionate inner voice, and remain rooted in the present moment.

  • I assist couples in cultivating stronger and more satisfying connections by addressing communication issues and intimacy concerns, regardless of the stage or style of your relationship.

By exploring these challenges together, we can uncover deeper insights into your relationship dynamics and work towards building a stronger, more fulfilling connection.

  • Family therapy is a collaborative approach that involves working with families to help them improve communication, resolve conflicts, and create healthier dynamics. As a therapist, I view the family as a complex system where each member plays a role and contributes to the overall functioning of the unit. My goal is to help families identify and understand their patterns of interaction, as well as the underlying issues that may be causing distress or conflict.

Through therapy, families can develop new ways of relating to one another, strengthen their bonds, and navigate challenges more effectively.

Each session is a collaborative space—anchored in presence, paced with care, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are navigating trauma, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or a desire for deeper self-understanding, my intention is to help you feel more whole, more connected, and more at home in yourself.

I draw from the following therapeutic modalities to create a personalized path toward healing:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR helps release the impact of trauma and distressing life experiences stored in the nervous system. Through this modality, we work to reduce emotional reactivity and develop new, empowering ways of relating to past experiences.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS offers a gentle, non-pathologizing way to explore the complex inner world of “parts.” Together, we build relationships with protective and wounded parts of you, helping restore access to Self—your natural source of clarity, calm, and compassion.

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotions are not problems to solve, but messengers to listen to. Through EFT, we work with core emotions as pathways to transformation, supporting you to shift patterns rooted in attachment wounds, shame, and disconnection.

  • Attachment-Based Therapy
Grounded in the science of human connection, Attachment-Based Therapy explores how early relationships shape our patterns of safety, trust, and intimacy. This approach supports the development of secure, attuned relationships—with others and with yourself—by healing attachment wounds and fostering emotional regulation.

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)
PRT is a cutting-edge, neuroscience-based approach for treating chronic pain that is driven by a sensitized nervous system. This method helps you retrain your brain’s response to pain by fostering safety, reappraising pain sensations, and reconnecting with areas of life that have been diminished by suffering. It’s especially helpful for neuroplastic pain and mind-body conditions.

  • Somatic Therapy
As a graduate of The Embody Lab’s Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy program, I incorporate body-based practices that support nervous system regulation, attunement, and embodied safety. This may include breathwork, movement, grounding, and somatic tracking to help reconnect with the body’s innate intelligence.

  • Compassion-Based Therapy & Buddhist Philosophy

Rooted in the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, Compassion-Based Therapy invites an attitude of kindness toward our inner experience. It recognizes that healing arises not through fixing ourselves, but through meeting suffering with presence and care. Drawing from mindfulness, loving-kindness, and self-compassion practices, this approach helps clients cultivate a stable, compassionate awareness that softens self-criticism and nurtures emotional resilience.

Grounded in Buddhist philosophy, it integrates insights into the impermanent, interconnected nature of all experience, encouraging acceptance, wisdom, and a deeper sense of inner freedom. Through this lens, therapy becomes a path of awakening—transforming pain into compassion and insight.

“The curious paradox is that when I can accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

- Carl Rogers
